Cotton
Cotton is the most common natural fiber. It is machine washable
and can be placed in the dryer. Cotton clothes tend to wrinkle a lot
so they require ironing at high temperatures. Avoid using bleach
because it can damage the color and texture of the garment. Due to
its absorbency, cotton needs more time to dry in natural conditions
or higher temperature in a drier.
Cashmere
Cashmere is fiber made from wool and it is one of the best
fabrics. Since it is a very delicate fabricate, hand wash is
recommended. To better protect the fabric avoid high spin speed and
let the garment dry on a clean towel. The drying should be done on a
flat surface because if you hang the garment, the weight of the water
will alter its shape. You should not iron or machine dry cashmere
items. Avoid hot water when washing clothes from or with cashmere.
Viscose
Viscose is a semi-synthetic fiber. It is a sensitive fabric so it
is better to either hand wash it or choose a gentle program with cold
water if put in the washing machine. It is preferred to iron viscose
on reverse side and on moderate temperature before the garment has
completely dried. Avoid storing in plastic bags. Avoid direct
sunlight when drying naturally.
MicroModal
MicroModal is produced from beech wood and depending on the
processing is can exceed cotton properties. It is one of the softest
fabrics, largely resembling the properties of silk. Machine wash at
any temperature depending on the details on the label of each
garment. It is recommended to dry your clothes on a hanger as it is a
fabric that doesn’t wrinkle much so it can dry this way. Iron
(if needed) on reverse side.
Mohair
Mohair is a type of wool with features that make it one of the
best fibers. Mohair is a fabric that might be a little rougher than
other wool fabrics. It is recommended to avoid washing machines so
before you wash it, consult the instruction on the clothe tab. Use
steam ironing. It is recommended to use a cloth over the garment when
ironing it.
Polyester
Polyester is the most widely known synthetic fiber. It is a very
durable fabric that does not shrink. It can be machine washed and
dried. Prefer moderate water temperature and use fabric softener
before spinning.
Wool
Wool is a sensitive fabric so you should follow the instructions
of each garment. Woolen clothes tend to shrink when washed in the
washing machine so it is better to hand wash them. Avoid very hot
water, drying and ironing. If ironing is required, the garment should
be wet and you should use a cloth over it to avoid direct contact of
the garment with the iron.
Silk
One of the more luxurious natural fabrics, which tends to be
extremely soft. Silk is a durable fabric that doesn’t wrinkle
much. It is a very sensitive fabric regarding ironing so read
carefully the instruction on the garment. Prefer ironing while the
garment is still wet and use a moderate temperature.
Fur
When you receive your order, brush the fur gently so that it takes
its natural shape and the hairs don’t look bristly. Never place
your fur coat near heating sources. If it gets wet it is preferable
to dry naturally. Avoid perfume, as the smell will stay on the fur
for a long time. Do not store in a plastic bag and do not expose to
direct sunlight as it can alter its color.
Denim
Jeans are a cotton cloth characterized by its diagonal weaving. It
can be washed in the washing machine and dried either naturally or in
the dryer. When washed in the washing machine make sure you put it
together with similar colors. The darker the denim, the greater the
chance to discolor. It is better to iron on the reverse side
regardless of the temperature of the iron. The more you wash, the
jeans color tends to lose its vividness so try to avoid unnecessary
washing.
